Industrial meets Shabby Chic...I had been eyeing this bookshelf for quite some time and when it was on sale, I had to have it. It looks great in shabby chic office.

It's really a gorgeous piece of furniture. I live alone and two stories up, so I had to open the box in my entryway and carry the contents up in about 5 trips, but putting it together was easy. (If I did it again I probably would use a service like Taskrabbit to do it, but it was fine.)
I use it for display of books, pictures and a lot of plants, and it looks great in my small Brooklyn living room. The quality is great, the frame is solid, the wood feels good. And it has character without making me worry about it eventually looking dated.

This shelving unit was easy to put together. It's sturdy and the nice on the eyes. The extra foot boost and side handles make the unit unique looking, and they were helpful when loading the top shelf.

That was the biggest cardboard box I have ever seen (let alone carried up 3 flights of steps), but these shelves are beautiful!!
