I've been looking for a perfect light in my bedroom that was going to give a soft glow and this lamp is perfect for a romantic lighting. I really love the style even though the base feels kinda cheep it actually is very sturdy. I would buy it again! August 24, 2015

The design is simple and perfect. The amount of light is just what I wanted, not too bright but enough to see what you are doing. Got one for me and one as a present. Both of us love it! Rated 2 out of 5 by Jada Light and flimsy I love the look of this lamp but the construction quality is not there. As another reviewer stated, it's very lightweight--both the base and the glass shade. There is no way to secure the glass shade to the wooden base. It just... hangs out. I used the lightbulb that came with the lamp. Several days later, I attempted to remove the bulb and the glass bulb separated from the base! I spent 30 minutes prying pieces of the bulb base. Luckily I did so without damaging the lamp. I recently moved and carefully wrapped the shade in several layers of bubble, inside and out. Lo and behold, the only thing that broke during my move was the glass lampshade. All other glassware on hand, including a box full of lightbulbs, were perfectly intact. Not all that surprising considering how thin and light the glass case is. I'd recommend you buy a different lamp or be prepared to replace the shade. March 1, 2016

I placed an online order for 7 items and 5 of the items had to be returned because they didn't work, were damaged, or were poorly made. I've been a long time customer of WM, but am really disappointed with the overall declining quality. :( August 28, 2015
