I have actually purchased two of these bad boys and I am loving them. I have placed them on the two side tables of my bed and love the hanging down on/off switch. It makes it so much easier because my bed is higher and its hard to reach the on/off switch sometimes. I love the look and they are the exact height I needed for my bed. They have held up fine and I love the rustic look of the lamp itself. It does come with a lamp shade which is awesome and the price is well worth it.

I really like this table lamp. It fits perfectly in the space I need it for. It is pretty hefty and solid, which I also love. The only thing I don't love about it is the chain is silver with the little back ball at the bottom rather than the whole chain being black and the metals on the inside (frame of lamp shade and doohickie to hold lamp shaed) are brass and silver coloured. Other than that, I am really pleased! I like it so much I am buying a second one!

Really like the simple design of this lamp. Nice contemporary shade. Will go with any décor. Competitive price. Good looking timeless lamp. Love the pull chain!
Bought 2 of these lamps for bedroom nightstands. Both lamp height and intensity are great for reading/computing in bed.

This lamp is beautiful! I ordered 2 of these for my living room. I love how simple, crisp, and elegant it looks. It is versatile enough to go well with any type of room decor (modern, vintage, contemporary). I love the pull switch chain... it looks awesome and makes it much more simple to turn the lamp on/off! It also has a sturdy base.

I bought this lamp for my bedroom. I wanted something elegant and simple that would match another lamp I already have. I really like this lamp's design. The base and body have a god heft, which makes it feel sturdy and durable. I also like the pull chain switch, which is pretty. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think the shade is a little bit small for the size of the lamp. All in all, I really like the lamp, and it is a good price. I might buy another one to have two matching.

Bought two of the Durham lamps which I was told had a "rust" color to them, they were black. Lampshades did not fit the lamp and by that, I mean, the shade was too large for the piece to screw in at the top of the lamp. The lamp itself was crooked. The felt piece of "material" on the bottom of the lamp which made it look very cheap immediately came off as I was removing the lamp from the box. I didn't bother to open the second one, throughly disappointed. Would never order online again. Now I have to ship these ginormous boxes back because you cannot return to the local store!
