Rated 4 out of 5 by Smitty Great media stand, but some issues
I've had this media unit for several months now, and I figured it was time to write a review.
This is a great media stand. It holds my 32" TV no problem, and could probably accommodate a 40". There is a TON of storage space in the cabinets. There is a shelf in there, and I can fit my entire DVD collection, plus a few books and magazines. The unit feels substantial, not chinsy, and looks great in the space.
I did have one issue. The unit went together fine, until I got to the 2nd door. The hinge screws wouldn't stay in their holes, and when I attached the door, it fell clean off the hinges. I had WM send me another door, but had the same problem. I ended up fixing it myself by gluing the screws into the holes, but it was a pain that the doors were designed so poorly.
Overall, I would recommend this to a friend. However, the potential for problems should be taken into consideration before purchasing--especially since the issue arose with two different doors.
