Before buying this surprisingly tasteful table as an office desk, I looked everywhere in town for a table that worked perfectly for my needs. I wanted a desk with antique qualities - something more organic and characteristic than what you'd find at a Target. I even shopped for antique tables - but their age created setbacks in both quality and function. This desk is sturdy and functional with a beautiful finish and design. The drawer was an amazing addition for me since I always have so many miscellaneous things traveling across my desk constantly. I only hope that in time some scratches and dents make their way around to add even more character.
