Rated 5 out of 5 by Deborah0302 Love it I got two at a local store - one was assembled, and one I had to assemble myself after delivery. Unpacking the one that had to be assembled took about 40 minutes, and assembly took about 40 without hurrying. The assembly went great - everything fit together perfectly, all the parts needed were correctly included, and the instructions were easy to understand and use. You can't flip the doors so that it opens right to left instead of left to right, but otherwise this is a fantastic pair of bookcases. The construction is very good and if it isn't all real wood, I was fooled. You can adjust the height of the top and bottom shelf (not the middle) about 3" up or down by moving the invisible pegs that hold them I'm 5'7" and the bookcases are about 4" taller than me. That was a huge selling point, since bookcases in this price range are often at eye level. January 7, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mikey12 This cabinet is exactly as advertised Delivery was prompt and everything arrived undamaged, surprising with so much glass. Assembly was easy - I did use some wood glue in the joints as well as the screws supplied - and the end result seems very sturdy. Probably took me an hour and a half including unpacking. Its an attractive cabinet, not furniture showroom quality but definitely value for money and displays items well because it has a big glass area. January 18, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by MariaFromDC Great look, good value, bit of a pain to assemble We've ordered this curio twice, now. The first time, the bottom door didn't quite fit, so we couldn't close the cabinet. And, the top right hand corner of the top door had a huge 4-5 inch crack. So, quality wasn't quite as expected. Luckily for us, World Market's customer service was excellent. I called, they apologized, then they arranged for UPS to pick up the entire thing at their cost and refunded us the full amount, including shipping & handling. Totally easy and they were so darn nice. My husband and I weren't going to get a replacement, but after searching far and wide for another cabinet (one with windows on three sides, not an old-fashioned lacquered mahogany look), we couldn't find any decent ones under a thousand. So, skeptically, we ordered this cabinet again, hoping the first try was just an aberration. We were thrilled to find that it was in fact an aberration. The second cabinet arrived very quickly and works fine. The bottom door barely closes (it's TIGHT), but the curio is beautiful and at this price, who can complain. It's good, solid wood, not MDF or particle board, so really, it's a fantastic deal. You have to put in some effort to assemble this right, but we think it's worth it.
