I bought a set of 4 to try these out and they were great so I found the Friends and Family sale through 10/14/13 and ordered another 15 sets for our holiday party. These are a nice size for both red and white wine and they are well made. We won't have to worry about breakage and if they survive the dishwater, that would be an added benefit.

I wanted wine glasses that could be used on our patio, which wouldn't break if dropped. These have been perfect. They are sturdy, and the one that has dropped didn't chip or scratch. Haven't put through dishwasher, but they are supposed to be okay for that.

Love these glasses as they are very durable. I use them for daily use and they stand up to the daily abuse :). I had purchased some simular to these years ago from a dept store. These are no comparison to those, these are much thicker and I am sure will last longer.
