Why We Love It

A great basic rug at an amazing price! Our Chunky Woven Cotton Rug in green adds a dash of color to your entry, bedroom or home office. It also functions well by the kitchen sink where it catches splashes of water that could make the floor slippery. What's more, the rug is made from recycled garment factory excess, so it's eco-friendly. Because of the nature of the material, there may be slight variations in color. Rug pad recommended.

perfect kitchen rugs! These are great for the kitchen- I have 2 in front of my sink and oven, they are thick enough no padding is needed beneath them. In fact because of the ridge design and texture of the cotton- on bare feet it actually feels like a little massage!!!! Thanks for keeping wash instructions online! I tore the tags off but was easy to find right here!!!! November 23, 2011
Eco-chic, shabby-chic I bought this rug to use bedside in my vintage, shabby chic guest room and absolutely love it. The soft sage shade is a perfect fit with the muted pastels in my quilt. The rug is thick and feels substantial beneath your bare feet when you step out of bed in the morning. My dog likes to nap on it, but it launders easily so when guests are coming I just toss it in the washer and hang to dry. It's not easy to find sustainable fiber rugs that are attractive and don't look like they were made from grandma's cleaning rags. But this World Market pulls it off here with a rug that treads lightly on the planet without sacrificing style. October 19, 2011
great little rug We use this rug in the kitchen under the dog's food/water dishes. It's a great rug simply because it's machine washable- hard to find in my opinion. The "nubby" weave distracts from any dirt or messes that may be on the rug. The green is actually much brighter in person than it actually shows on the website. It looks sage on my monitor, but I would describe it as being closer to chartreuse. September 1, 2011
