Rated 3 out of 5 by adrtho4 No noe else is going to review this, so I guess I will. I bought this frame because I really like the way it looked in the pictures. The men showed up today with the boxes. You will receive two of them. The one with the headboard was in good condition yet the other containing all of the other material had torn in some spots. This could be the fact that the handlers (not these guys personally) who loaded this up didn't care or maybe it was stacked incorrectly and it cut on something else; who knows, but thankfully... THANKFULLY all of the parts and materials therein were not scratched. When you view the manual, the manual specifically states "CHECK FOR MISSING PARTS" I was missing a screw and washer. The install was fairly painless, but with the slats especially, it's going to be a tight fit on the two edges of the bed frame and the mid beams which means you may actually scratch and tear the fabric on the inside of the bed... like I have trying to get that thing to fit on, but the slats in the middle all fit in perfectly. You might be missing a screw or two. After putting it together and throwing my mattress on, my initial thoughts were "Welp, this thing is short!". I'm 6'0 so if you are that height and taller, just go with a box spring unless you love that low profile. The slats have a curve to them but if you want to place a box spring on it, just flip the slats, so the curve part is on the bottom or just make you some straight slats. I may go with the latter honestly. Keep in mind that my mattress is 10" high. If you have a 12" or 13" then you will probably be fine. Overall, I'm a bit "meh" with this purchase. Thankfully I got this on sale. If you buy this... WAIT for a sale! It looks good when it's put together, I'll give the designers that, but it just sits too low to the ground and if you have a 10" or smaller mattress, and are relatively tall, a box spring is a priority. I'll probably update this review after I get a chance to stress test this while performing "other" activities. February 29, 2016
