After checking many sites I found this one. It is even more beautiful in person-I could not be happier!! People who have come to see our place have already complimented it...and I have to say, it is probably one of my favorite pieces in the place-I cannot stop looking at it!!! Highly Recommend! Rated 2 out of 5 by Lauren32 Poor Construction Not that this has anything to do with the product, but I have to say that I had to wait for double the amount of time for this lamp to be delivered because it never arrived the first time. Luckily, World Market Customer Service sent me a new one. The product itself was a completely different problem. While the materials are nice, the capiz layers were chained at the wrong height (i.e., the wider capiz tier was actually hanging lower than the narrow one). It wasn't the end of the world, but I had to take the time to take the chains off of each layer just to fix them. The light socket was also not attached correctly (i.e., the bulb was pointing upward and thus could be seen over the top of the linen drum). Again, not the end of the world, as it was easily fixed, but still. Since I wanted this to go in the dining room, I needed it to hang lower than it actually could. I ended up having to add chain from my old chandelier just to make it longer. Although the different chain isn't noticeable, it would have been nice if the lamp came with extra chain, attached or not. Now that the lamp is hanging and actually looks the way it is supposed to look, I really like it. I just gave it a fair rating overall because of all of the aggravation. The money wasn't worth having to disassemble it in order to reassemble it correctly. I can't say that I'd recommend ordering this lamp online. However, if you consider yourself handy and don't mind breaking out the old needle nose pliers, order away! For me, doing all of the extra work was better than having to wait for a third lamp to arrive. November 16, 2015
