I found it to be just what it is. Only as long as the tea light keeps lit, the cast iron teapot kept my tea hot. I have only had this one week and have used it every night with my teapot.

This is my second cast iron teapot warmer. I've been faithfully enjoying my first for several years because it really does add to the pleasure of a pot of tea. Without it, I was finding the tea cooled down too fast. While this won't keep it boiling hot with a simple tea light candle, [and it's not intended to do so] it does keep it pleasantly warm for consumption at your leisure. I also purchased a second cast iron teapot with this because I thought it would be nice to offer guests a choice of tea rather than splitting a pot and settling on a single flavor. Bring on the tea party!

I love the castiron teapot warmer. The price is unbeatable and the quality is excellent. It is just like the one at the expensive tea shops that cost 3 times what I paid for mine at World Market.

My ideal night is a hot pot of tea going all night long. This warmer + cast iron pot + the 6 hours tea lights World Market sells keeps my tea steaming hot for hours.

Bought this as a gift for my tea addicted fiance, and he loves it. He has a small cast iron teapot that fits very well, and the fact that the warmer does what it says and keeps the pot of tea warm allows him to make full pots of tea that he'll drink through the span of a couple hours while he's working on the computer instead of having to get up all the time to boill water for the next cup.
