I think that it is made out of inexpensive fabric, and the height is low for a counter stool. I did read the measurements, so that was my fault. I just think it feels plastic and not very firm in the cushioning. It will do fine for it's purpose, but will probably replace within 2 years for another world market stool, this time more carefully chosen.

I have been looking for some stools for awhile now and when I found these I thought they were perfect. Great color, love the nail head and finally some stools that seat at 26". But when I received it after assembling one I notice they were a bit low and then I the seat height was only at 24". Then I compare the rest of the measurements that were a bit off too and notice that all the nail head were not even put on strait so I decided that was too much and I wasn't going to be happy if I kept them so I decided to return them.
I have to say that after telling the company what was wrong they were really professional and gave me a really good service and my refund. Thanks
