Rated 5 out of 5 by Girlpetunia Meets our needs and pretty to boot! I ordered this table to be used as a 'tv tray' and we love it. It's quite sturdy, is plenty tall enough for that purpose, the capiz shell surface seems to have a coating on it that prevents chipping, and the uneven surface that others have complained about is minor. It has nice little rubber feet and doesn't scratch the hardwood floor. 2 thumbs up! March 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tamaraltt High-end looking, Functional, & Sturdy! LOVE IT! This table looks wonderful and is very sturdy. I love the fact that everyone you know will not have this table as well. Even when you are not working off of the table its so high-end looking that it can stand on its own as an end table. If you want to jazz up your design style, go for this table instead of the regular looking kind. Even though this is a laptop table, its really a show piece. Enjoy! January 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by beanmaker Love this! I ordered this for my husband (who has been using my dining room chair for this purpose). His first response was, "What, you don't like me using the chair?". A day later, it was "I love this thing! I can recline and still reach my computer! Look at this, it actually will pull over the couch!" and proceeds to demonstrate how amazing the table is. I only wish I'd bought one for myself at the same time (25% off was a definite bonus). Only complaint is that the shell flakes off a little bit. Haven't really noticed any flaking since assembly though, so it could just be under more rough circumstances. December 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by nand beautiful but too delicate These tables are gorgeous, many positive remarks from visitors. The only problem is the capiz shells sometimes start peeling off. But I am using them for TV trays instead of the suggested laptop table! October 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lucky Basically attractive and functional, not 100% Very nice product, essentially. Intuitively easy to assemble. One observation: in the final stage of assembly, screwing the white top onto the black frame, it was possible to attach only three of the four screws. The openings for the screws underneath the white top did not line up exactly with the frame, causing the final screw to not gain traction with the opening for it on the black frame. So the piece is now in use, absent the fourth screw. Really, I have no issue with assembly pieces, in fact I think it's fun to build them. But flaws like this remind us that the era of professionally assembled goods is a distant memory. September 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Candice99 Very useful I got this cute little table as a side table next to place next to the couch that would swing over the couch's arm so I could put dinner on it or my laptop. Unfortunately, it's not tall enough for me to do that. My couch's arm is about 3 inches taller than the table. I still use it, though. It's really cute and I've been using it a lot when I'm working while sitting on the couch. I put my laptop on it and work using it. One other thing that may or may not turn you off: The surface is uneven. I don't think this is a huge deal, but it's sort of surprising. It would be great if you could adjust the height.
