Why We Love It

The Original Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. The Cafe is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and only closes on Christmas Day. While originally known for its French-inspired coffee and chicory flavors, the cafe now offers a pure French Roast Coffee without the chicory, with all the same New Orleans' taste. It's a blend of 100% arabica beans and has a smooth yet rich flavor.

Cafe Du Monde French Roast Coffee 4.4 5 5 5
Best Coffee Good full flavored coffee. I enjoy strong, bold coffee's and highly recommend the Cafe du Monde French Roast. Add whole milk and its almost like enjoying a cafe au lait at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. November 16, 2011
Expensive Palate I know nothing about coffee, but apparently have an expensive pallet. I cannot stand super market coffee, for the most part & would prefer to go tired than to drink Folgers or the like. This coffee is so delicious!!! I love the chicory version, but as a whole Cafe Du Monde is perfect! August 29, 2011
Oh so good The full richness of this fantastic coffee just can't be beat, great morning cup of java or just a relaxing mid day cup June 6, 2011
My new go to coffee @ home I ran out of my normal Starbucks and was in World Market, picked this up and don't regret it! Fantastic coffee! May 9, 2011
Missed the mark Cafe du Monde sells great coffee at their stand in the French Quarter - I have always enjoyed their blend. However, this canned version has apparently been sitting on a shelf for quite some time, as it is only slightly better than Folgers or some other traditional gas station coffee. January 24, 2013
