Rated 5 out of 5 by ClubGio Not just for butter I bought several of these to keep our butter warm during crab claw season and they work beautifully. But the real reason I bought them is I attended a dinner party where chocolate fondue was served in them. The warmer was in the center of a plate that had all of the fruit, cake, etc. on it. The host served one of these in the center of the table for 2-4 people to use each one. Much easier than everyone crowded around one pot! I'm sure it could be used to keep cheese fondue warm as well. I look forward to using them to do both. February 26, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by tcmullinax Not exactly perfect... The candle holder sits just a little too high-my butter was bubbling it was so hot! I used a brand new, standard tea candle, and I trimmed the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting it. It was great at first-then it started boiling! So, I blew out the candle. A few minutes later, my butter started to solidify. I had to re-light the candle, but I had buttery, crabby, lobstery covered fingers and hands. This ended up being not worth the trouble.
