It takes about an hour to unpack this thing, but there was absolutely no damage, so well worth the time. This is an unexpectedly heavy piece due especially to the solid metal parts. It's simple to attach the wheels and handle. Looks exactly as pictured. Somewhat overpriced, so we waited until it was on sale. Very useful piece for both storage and prep.

added counter space as expected, and it looks awesome in the kitchen! the color of the steel part is darker than the picture, which is in my mind better fit the industrial/rustic design. love it

A jewel for my newly updated kitchen, I found this online. Easy to assemble, sturdy and quite a conversation piece. Unfortunately, the wheels do not lock, so I placed washers on the floor up against the inside of each wheel. Solves the problem!

I was pleased with the quality and style of the kitchen cart. I use it as an kitchen island. It goes with many different styles and is very sophisticated. It is a great addition to my home and is a good conversation piece.

+ The product is very heavy and feels quite solid.
+ The wood top is gorgeous.

+ The shelves pull out from either side
- The shelves make me a little nervous; when you start pulling them out they can drop quite a bit. If you put heavy plates on one side and nothing on the other you might find that the drawer flips and crashes to the floor. Use them cautiously.

In general, I love this island. I fell in love with it instantly and bought it while it was on sale. It looks amazing in my kitchen (in my opinion) and I love the functionality.
My problems with this piece lie in the details - the wood top is beautiful but one of the pieces doesn't line up with the others in an obvious way, so there are sharp points jutting out and it ruins the overall aesthetic. Also, there was a nick in the wood and it caused a big chunk to come up. The towel rack is not secured and it moves around. Finally, it did not come with the all the hardware needed to assemble correctly.
I didn't exchange because scheduling a delivery was hard enough, i didn't think it was really an option.
Overall though, despite the imperfections, I do love this island. It is just annoying after spending so much to have it not be perfect. Had I paid less, the imperfections would bother me less.
