Because of the one bad review about the shedding, I was slightly hesitant to get this blanket. I was completely in love with it though, so I ordered it anyways, and I don't regret it at all. It DOES SHED, but it only shows on dark fabrics, and if you have long haired pets like me then you really won't mind at all. It's gorgeous, it feels almost like real fur, the colors are beautiful, and it's very warm. The inside is lined with a soft, warm fleece also. Overall, great quality for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pamie Realistic fur throw is luxurious indeed
My husband doesn't like it, but I sure do and now, it's at the foot of our bed to provide extra warmth for my feet at night. It's very nice and fur-like. Much more so than another polyester "fur" style throw that he bought for me. I prefer this one, which is smaller in dimensions, but more realistic and cozy than the other one. Also the "fur" pile is longer and prettier.

I have the chocolate one, which I love and which has not shed much at all. But the brown one (looks like fox fur) which I just received as a gift sheds endlessly.I received both the pillow and the blanket, and to see if it would ever stop shedding, I vacuumed the pillow super well. But the pillow is still shedding. The blanket is the same, the fibers are just not well attached. I am going to return it and see if the ivory is more resilient. Again, I've been delighted with the chocolate color, as it feels wonderful and does not shed. Was hoping for another cozy option, but the sheddingof this one gets everywhere, all over clothing, furniture, and even floating around in the air such that I'm concerned about breathing in the fibers. Check whether it sheds before you buy.
