Blue Gazebo Grommet Top Curtain 4 5 1 1
Fine if you don't mind a different blue I really wanted blue curtains. Since teal and aqua are "in" these days, it's hard to find true blue. The other common colors are navy, which I don't care for, and very light powder blue. I thought these curtains looked like a vibrant, vivid blue that wasn't too dark or too light. However, the actual curtains are a rather flat, duller blue that didn't do anything for me. The depth of color is fine - neither overly dark nor pale- but there was no vibrancy or interest in it for me. I do have strong preferences because of the color scheme I'm going for. The material quality seemed fine enough - not overly thin or thick. More on the thin side but sturdy. The weave was smooth, not textured. The grommets seemed well made and looked very nice. I can't comment on the products UV-, mildew- or water-resistant qualities since I returned them. Packaging was good. Took a while to arrive. I had to pay return shipping, which I did through the post office for less than $5. This item is online only. It's hard to buy textiles like curtains and rugs online, because color and texture are so difficult to gauge from photos and risk of return costs are high. I wish they would put more of their curtains in store or have swatches so you don't have to order blind online. I put "no" on recommend simply based on the color. I think if you are flexible on the color, they would work well indoors or outdoors with a stainless steel or nickel curtain rod. November 27, 2013
