Rated 4 out of 5 by PandoraBlue Stores tea well I have several of these, and they work great for storing tea. They look so much nicer than the bags most loose tea comes in. Word of warning: if you wash them by hand, be sure to dry them immediately. The knob on the inside lid can rust on the bottom (which would be on the inside of the tin). Otherwise, they are a great purchase. October 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kathy Practical, stylish tea tin I recently bought some Touareg tea and snacks from World Market. Since I was on the hunt for tea tins anyway, I bought four of these. They aren't completely airtight (I filled the tin with water and flipped it upside down), but they get the job done and are much less expensive than many similar tins I've found. I also love that these containers do not use plastic seal lids -- many tins I have found use a plastic cap for the inner seal instead of a metal one, and I'd rather not use plastic. I would not use these to store an expensive tea (as others noted), but they're wonderful for my daily helpings of Gunpowder, Irish Breakfast, and Earl Grey. November 27, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Meg S. I own five of these tins I own several of these. They are not as air-tight as those sold by Teavana but, for the price, they are sufficient. I wouldn't put highly priced tea in them but I put every day green and oolong tea in them: loose and bags. They work very nicely; especially as I go through tea quickly. The tea never stays in there over a few months. They are rather pretty on my shelf, as well. August 11, 2011
