I bought this to house my tv & related items for my living room. When I ordered it online, I was really sold by the description, "rich solid wood construction". While assembling it, one small false move resulted in a rip in one of the "solid wood" pieces. It's obvious that this product is NOT solid wood, or at least not all the parts are. The glass doors are magnetized to stick when you close them. One of the doors doesn't stick at all so we're going to have to correct it ourselves by a make-shift fix. I admit I still like the look of the piece but feel I over paid for the what I got. If I could go back, I would go to a local store & pay $50-$100 more to know exactly what I'm getting. The goods news is we're in the process of getting a replacement part for the broken one, provided by the manufacturer.

I wish I would have paid better attention to the other review...but I really liked the style. This piece of furniture is horrible. It is poorly designed. I have put together a lot of furniture and this by far was the most frustrating. The screws weren't long enough and I had to use a "mini" screw driver (that I use for my glasses) to screw in some pieces. Two of the parts came broken and once I finally got it all together it is still struggling. The compartments are too small and neither my cable receiver nor my DVD player fit into it. I honestly wish I would have listened to the reviews. The worst.
