Black Penelope Spindle Stool 3.3 5 3 3
Nice look and value I bought two of these stools at half off (would not have bought them at full price) and used them together as an entry "table" for people's bags, etc. But when I ended up with a very tall guest bed with hardly any room on the sides for nightstands, I moved them to act as nightstands and they are perfect. They have a great look and assembly was a snap. I've even thought about dropping some kind of basket into the bottom frame for more storage. I did have to put a couple small felt pads on the ends of a couple of the legs to get them to not wobble, but I also live in an old home with uneven wood floors. August 8, 2013
Great price for a good stool I bought two of these on memorial day and put them together that night. Assembly was quick (about 20 minutes for first chair, 15 for second) and fairly easy. The only difficult part was getting the hex key to catch in the screws a few times. The stools look great and, unlike the other reviewer, I have had no issues with them tipping over. I have them placed on carpet so maybe that makes a difference. I probably would not have bought these stools at full price ($90) but for $45 a piece they are a good value. Of course, I don't think any stool is really worth $90. May 30, 2013
These stools have a base that is too small for the height of chair. They tip over way to easy. Even with an electric screw driver it is very difficult to get the screws in. April 12, 2013
