We didn't have any trouble at all with the assembly of this bench like a previous customer posted! The drawers are really nice for storing things like scarves, gloves, hats, and socks that you might want to have handy by the door as you are sitting on the bench and putting your shoes on (or taking off). It would be nicer if the shoe cubbies were a bit larger so you could store large shoes or boots inside.
