If this is what you are looking for, then they hit a home run with this design. I paired (2) drawer cabinets with the wood top. I wanted the look of an old station or warehouse office and this is it. Rated 4 out of 5 by shopper13 As expected, but VERY LOUD! We purchased this with the 3-shelf desk base. This drawer unit looks a little bit more rustic in person with distressing (think rust/peeled paint) in more places than pictured. Also, the metal is much thinner gauged than I expected, so the areas that were distressed are all accompanied by unavoidable dents. Because the metal is so thin, also causes it to be very loud (VERY LOUD!!!) when you bump the side or open a drawer. The drawers do have stops in the back so they will not fall out, but they do not run on a track causing them to be clumsy to pull out and push in... making it impossible to avoid the loud booming sounds the drawers make. It reminds me of the super cheap, metal file cabinets - except thinner metal and much louder. I read in other reviews that the matching wood top has an overhang that prevent the top drawer from opening so I called a store and a worker tried to open the top drawer on the display desk and confirmed that the top needs to be raised (with some sort of shim) in order for the top drawer to be usable. I did not buy the top since it isn't even solid wood for a rather high price. We bought a single solid piece of oak at a home improvement store. This desk provides the look we are going for and we couldn't find any other options anywhere else, so we are happy to keep this and will deal with the noise. February 8, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt705 Nice Drawer Stand (but not for file hanging) I love this 3-drawer cabinet. It works we a base to the Mix & Match set but would look great as a stand-alone piece as well. The drawers are somewhat inefficient, however. None of the drawers is deep enough for vertically hang files or stack 8.5x11" papers upright. They do, however fit somewhat well laying down (horizontal). Other than that, this product is really nice. September 9, 2015
