Great extension features! This table is perfect for your everyday dining area but can be extended not once but twice for those days you have lots of family and/or friends over! December 29, 2013
LOVE IT! The Bishop table is absolutely beautiful! Very heavy and sturdy. The natural finish with the grain showing is very nice. I got all kinds of different colored chairs for it, as well as the little Pacific Madeline Banquette from World Market. I am very happy with my new dining room, and smile everytime I use it - which is every day. The pictures show our dining room before we completely finished everything, but will give you an idea how it looks. November 30, 2013
This product is built very well. The table looks great in the dining room. We are trying to create a Rustic look and the table fits in perfectly. November 14, 2013
Fantastic! We are extremely happy with our new table. Nice, solid construction, very heavy wood, and a rich color. I love that it has natural "character" marks on the wood so slight dings or scratches are disguised as intentional-looking (as opposed to the shiny lacquered tables in formal dining rooms). We used one of the extensions to create a nice six person table in our modestly sized dining room. The color is a little darker than the pictures, which is fine by our tastes. This table is also wider than your standard six foot table, so keep that in mind and measure accurately. We bought our chairs on Overstock and were worried at first about it not matching, but when we put it all together it looks like a million bucks. November 11, 2013
Beautiful table! I looked for a table that was flexible as we will be scaling it up and down depending on time of year, # of guests etc...and this was the only table that goes all the way down to a table for 4, and back up to a table for 8. It IS very heavy so I am glad they have that extra support leg in the middle. The wood is rustic and beautifully finished. I am using seagrass chairs (5) and the Goldenrod banquet. love the look! Great Gaming Table! I bought this table a month ago. It is extremely heavy and durable, and other than the support beams, solid hardwood without veneer. It has been easy to clean and maintain. I use my table daily - everything from working, arts and crafts, and gaming. The table is sturdy enough to handle the daily abuse. It has two leaves which are easy to place and remove, making it easy to go adjust when I have guests coming over. My only problem, and it is a very small one, is that there are two places where the finish doesn't cover. Also, remember this table is extremely heavy, you may need 3 people to move it. However, it was easy for me and my boyfriend to assemble - all we had to do was put on the legs. October 3, 2013
Love the table could be more durable The table looks great. We love it. It went together pretty easy, but having two people is necessary since the table is pretty heavy. The surface has a rough finish, but not so rough that cleaning is a hassle. We have little kids and the finish is already scratched (only had it 3 weeks!). There are a few other signs of wear, nothing major, but I would hope that it would still be pristine after 3 weeks. One spot of damage was on a black part of the finish, which was easily fixed with a sharpie. The brown part is more difficult. Anyone know how to touch up the brown finish? December 20, 2013
Came Broken/Returned/Second One Scratched This table is CHEAP! The first one came broken on an edge. We returned (missed Christmas, of course). The "new" one was scratched. Junk. Will not order from here again. January 13, 2014
