I bought the teapot, cups/saucers and sugar/creamer a year ago, and am still loving it. It is, of course, totally adorable. But it is also well made, which surprised me a bit. The cups fit your hand perfectly, and the pot has not stained. The pot and creamer pour just fine, and the pot and sugar bowl lids fit as they should. (That being said, I did inspect each piece at the store. But I found few that weren't perfect.) It's well worth the money even not on sale, though the sale made it even sweeter. If you are a bird lover, or know one, GET IT! You'll have no regrets.

I just purchased this and the matching cups/saucers set. It couldn't be sweeter! Make sure you get the cups and saucers to match. Would also make a great git set. Practical, well made and unique. Very happy!

This fully functional teapot is great for my small teapot collection. It is delightfully unique and whimsical. Very pleasing to use for company or to treat myself to tea. A real conversation piece.

I love this teapot, don't get me wrong. However, when it pours, it doesn't have a flow. It just kind of unevenly... spills... out of the pot. It is also very difficult to completely empty the pot without flipping it completely upside down. Very upsetting when cleaning or trying to get the last cup of tea. That aside, it is a beautiful teapot. I didn't notice any problems with the lid being ill-fitting, like another review suggested. The only problem I had was the spout. It really does pour very strangely. It's like an uneven splashing rather than a stream of tea... which I really hate because it kind of makes it look like the bird is puking.... :/
