Just assembled this piece. I used some colorful language, especially trying to get the doors to co-operate, but now that it is finished I love it!

Have to second Ken's review. The assembly design for the doors needs to be improved; it is especially irritating as the rest of the assembly was clearly thought out and well-designed. Everything to do with the doors (in terms of assembly) is poor, starting with the misaligned holes for the magnets and ending with the wood screws that stripped before I could get them in to hang the doors.
Beyond this frustration, which is a significant annoyance, this is a high-end, solid piece of furniture, which fits well with a variety of decorating styles.

Overall an easy build and solid enough wood I do not recall seeing any particle board in this system which is a plus.
Also need to comment on the door issues, I have had this for several months now and with the change in temperature (now summer) one of the side doors can be barely closed, and difficult to open.
The component holding area was rather shallow and would not hold my theater system , which defeated the purpose of the purchase. The side cabinate areas allows for the holding of two rows of DVD's, but you need to remove those in front to get to the back row. This areas needs a better of organizing or accesability, maybe an insert.
Other than that the piece is nice and of good quality, for the money it was well worth it.
If you are really thinking about this piece, take measurements of your items you wish to store within it and ensure they will fit.
