Rated 5 out of 5 by wmkristen Charming chairs I wanted stylish but solid dining chairs since I have 2 toddlers. And since I needed 16 of them, they couldn't be spendy. These chairs totally nailed it. They have a deep grain which I like, but are not rough to the touch. They are solid wood with clean lines and a curved back. They are not comfortable at all without chair pads. It is difficult to assemble them with the tools provided, so I'd recommend using a socket wrench and a power drill with a hex bit. Out of the 16, I only had to exchange 1 chair for cosmetic defects. I also added nail-in 1" felt pads to keep them from scratching my hardwood floors. May 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pam720 Sturdy and Rustic We got the chairs put together without a problem, although it took some time considering it is put together with an allen wrench. They are sturdy and really lovely. I love the rustic look. January 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jill Love the chairs and table I really love this table and chairs. I was looking in high end furniture stores and came across this table and chairs. Love them. The table has shown no wear so far which was one of the most important details I required for a new table and chairs. December 14, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by D Table and chairs are sturdy, beautiful After searching for this set, I purchased the table, chairs and benches. Tried to assemble bench first and had problem with wobbling. Then tackled table and chairs and everything went great. Table and chairs are beautiful and VERY sturdy. Bench has to go back for wobbling due to factory installed screws. I love this set. Assembly is time consuming but not impossible with great, detailed instructions. October 17, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by AmyDee Beautiful to look at - not so great to sit at We bought this set in a rush - we were in a brand new house with 8 family members coming to stay for thanksgiving. Living in Park City, we loved the rustic charm of this set. At first glance it really does look like a high end set. Since we were in a rush, we had to drive around to three different World Markets to get all the chairs.... Problem #1, some chairs were a different color from the others and didn't match the table....they were severely faded from being on the shelf in the store - which makes me wonder about how this set is going to look in a year or two. Problem #2, you cannot sit on the ends of the table if you do not have the leafs on. There is barely any overhang to the table ends and you end up having to lean over to reach your plate with the big gorgeous pedestal leg crammed into your knees. Problem #3, if you do have the leafs in and you try to put three chairs on each side of the table - which we did for the holiday - the pedestal legs are directly in front of the end chairs, again - whoever is sitting in those chairs will have the pedestals either in between their legs or have their knees hitting the pedestal - You actually can't even push the chairs in all the way because the pedestal legs are in the way Problem #4, the "raw plank" design of the table top is a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing feature. However, there are so many nooks, cracks, knots and crannies in the table top that I literally need to vacuum it after every single meal served. You can't wipe it down because your crumbs and spills will get smooshed into all the crevices and never come out Problem #5, it scratches easily. Overall....it's serving its purpose and it looks a heck of a lot better than the typical $1100 dining room set. March 3, 2014
