Colorful Spice Organization Love these! Have 14 of them and a magnetic knife rack from Ikea that work great for the spice rack on the back-side of my cabinets. See-through for quick grabbing, awesome pour holes on the side and a lot more colorful than the plain metal! REALLY frees up cabinet space!! August 23, 2012
Pretty, Great Idea, Just Not For Heavy Use I bought these to free up space in the cabinet, and prevent the avalanche of different sized spice jars every time I opened the spice cabinet. These really helped me get organized in the kitchen. However, I would not recommend this to anyone who uses spices while cooking on a regular basis. I use mine daily, and after regular use over the last four months the tins have become harder and harder to open. I was a little afraid that this would happen as I noticed when I got them that the tin was rather thin and bent with a little pressure. Regular use (twisting the lid to open and closed) has slightly warped the tin and lid from perfect circles so that it is hard to twist them. I have never dropped one, but I imagine that if I did the same thing would happen. In addition, residue from the spices can slip between the tin and the lid, further gumming up the works. In short, this a great idea, and an attractive product, but only purchase if you don't intend to put to heavy use. Tip: I used my label maker to label the underside on top of the magnet. Works perfectly and does not affect the magnet. March 11, 2013
