Rated 5 out of 5 by Dina Great little teapot I love this teapot. I was sad to see the two star reviews, so I had to put in my two cents. I agree with the commenter who said this is NOT a kettle. It's a teapot. Don't put it on your stove. It has enamel on the inside, and I've had it about 1+ years, and I haven't had an issue with rust. I drink a lot of loose leaf teas, so it's had quite a bit of use. Also, it's beautiful. Plus, because it has a removable strainer, when I'm too lazy to brew tea in a teapot I use the strainer right in my mug. It's perfect. Oh yeah, and it's pretty too. September 11, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by TerraNeu Not lined. I am a tea junkie. I love my tea... And I love the Art of tea, or the way of tea. Chado. With that being said, I do own a few tetsubins and have a bit of experience with them. I bought this one because it was said to have had an enamel lining; and I thought it was a super cute addition to my collection. I also thought it would be cute with some tea cups I had purchased for my health coaching office... To serve clients tea. I have yet to use it; but have many questions of it's origin. I have read other reviews about some where the inside has come off with a metallic taste. I am really wanting to return this item. I just ordered another teapot to replace it. I am hoping that it is it is of better quality.. And lined. I did love the larger basket. April 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by tgnwh Teapot, not Kettle I bought this to use as a tea KETTLE, since it's labelled as such. It held up being used on the stovetop for about a month, carefully dried out after each use and never allowed to sit filled with water for more than a few minutes. But it still rusted inside after a month. I'm very disappointed because it's a truly beautiful little teapot, and maybe it would have been usable for longer if it hadn't been mislabeled as a kettle. Regardless, since it rusted so quickly, I'm not sure I would chance it even just for teapot use. March 12, 2014
