Rated 5 out of 5 by Jolieblue Stylish and sturdy I have this piece in dark brown. I use it next to my sofa like an extra deep side table. I enjoy being able to stack all my goodies-magazines, remote, ipad, hand lotion, etc. on the two lower shelves where I can reach them easily. Its a heavy sturdy piece with no wobbles or wiggles. I have a variety of styles of furniture in my open plan living area, mostly french country, acadian, rustic. This piece blends in nicely with its simple straight lines and doesnt compete for attention. I really love it. I consider it a bargain for this quality at this price. We had no issues putting it together. August 15, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by socaljojo Amazing, classy-looking bookcase!@ According to my husband, this wasn't that hard to put together and the finished result is awesome. We got two of them, and placed them side-by-sue to make one long looking bookcase in our master bedroom. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. We wanted to get the matching tall bookcase for the corner of our office, but it was too wide to fit our area. Bummer! June 19, 2014

The shelves may be a little tiny height wise depending what your putting on them; I have school binders, but they are adjustable. Definitely love this piece of furniture! November 29, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by algal Quality bookcase We purchased this bookcase to furnish a guest room. Assembly was quick but took two people. The main function of the bookcase, for our purposes, was to hold a small television, lamp and two baskets for storage. Everything fit on the shelves with plenty of room to spare. The bookcase looks great in the room and is very sturdy. I am very happy that the Verona is made out of solid wood and not MDF. The Verona was chosen as a replacement for a Riley bookcase that was taken by my daughter when she moved out. I enjoy the open back /sides design of the Verona. The value of World Market furniture was a definite consideration also. I would highly recommend the Verona bookcase as a quality piece of furniture. December 17, 2012
