I was looking for wall sconces that did not involve busting a hole through a wall and electrical work. I heart most things mirrored, gold and these were right up my alley. I purchased 2 for my dining room. My home was built in the 1920s so I have a mix of timeless art deco and modern décor. These sconces fit beautifully marrying both styles seamlessly. They definitely have an aged “patina” look to them which really gives them an authentic look. One of the candle holders’ plates arrived slightly twisted. I didn’t even bother claling customer service as I was able to easily adjust it into place with my hand. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Are sconces too gothic for a contemporary home? Not this one. It feels warm but modern, unique but classy.

I bought 2 of these sconces to put on each side of a painting in my living room. I loved the look and the antique gold finish, however, they simply did not work and I had to return them. The candle holder folds down so that the sconce can lay flat in the packaging. When I pulled them down, they did not sit at a 90 degree angle to the mirror. One was at a very sharp angle, though the other one was a bit better. I couldn't put candles on top without them being tilted. I wish these worked because I love the design.
