Alpine Gingerbread House Kit 3 5 2 2
Fun & Festive activity! I picked up this gingerbread kit on a whim while shopping for holiday gifts- the bright packaging caught my eye and I wanted to spend a fun afternoon decorating it with my nieces. They are a bit older now, so I thought a more elaborate & chic kit would be appropriate as opposed to the cheaper ones. The girls absolutely loved it and we had a wonderful afternoon listening to music, catching up, and decorating the kit with tons of candy! I also made some hot chocolate for the girls and the three gingerbread houses are now proudly on display in the living room....this will definitely become a holiday tradition! January 3, 2014
I would return this even if it was free This by far the worst gingerbread house kit we've ever used. Every year we make a gingerbread house, typically it's with a kit from a well known baking company, this year I decided to grab this one because I was doing an order. Pieces came broken, the icing provided is minimal and the pieces were warped. We set the sides exactly at the directions said and waited an hour before doing the roof, the house still wouldn't stand. We threw out 2 kits and instead went with another brand that worked perfectly. Even if this was free, I would turn it down. I figured for the low price it didn't have to be this elaborate house, but it wasn't worth 10 cents. Really, beyond terrible. November 30, 2013
