Great Piece I love this piece. Great style, unique & well made. We are using as storage for our dishes/cookbooks. Love it's rustic charm + industrial feel. Exactly what we were looking for. August 13, 2013
Great, sturdy piece. Love it! We removed the wheels and use it in our guest room to house a small tv. The other 3 shelves provide room to make attractive vignettes, store books, candles, pictures, etc. March 17, 2012
Great value & easy to asemble Easy to asemble Console is perfect for a T.V Husband likes it Looks terrific in any space. September 5, 2011
Very nice! This is very nice, I took advice of some others and only loosely fitted screws until it was upright and it worked perfectly. Unit is square and stable, not a wobble at all. Can't wait to get the matching pieces. June 28, 2011
Great Look Was looking for an industrial look and this set did the trick. Love the piece. Pretty easy to put together. Only downside is S&H and surcharge charges are a little high. Would recommend this set. September 7, 2013
Exactly What I Needed! We have a relatively small, galley style kitchen and were in need of additional storage to supplement our cabinets. The Aiden Etagere fits well in the space and gives us the perfect place to store the copper pots and dinner plates we got last Christmas. Our kitchen has an overall country aesthetic, but thanks to the rustic wood of its shelves, the Aiden Etagere feels just as much at home with country as it would with a more modern industrial look. I wish the shelves were solid blocks of wood rather than planked, but the are nonetheless very well put together and sturdy. We haven't had the problems with wobbling that some other reviewers have mentioned. If you turn the wheels so that the unit sits level and then lock the casters, it should help solve or lessen the problem. The only time we ever hear the plates rattle even a tiny bit is when we're putting them back on the shelf or picking them up to use them. The unit sits right inside the sliding glass doors that lead out to or back porch, too, but the shelf doesn't wobble noticeably when we walk by. I can't speak about putting the piece together, because our local World Market Store was sold out of the Aiden Etagere in the back, so we purchased the floor model. However, we bought the coffee table in the box the same day, and it went together pretty easily with all of the holes for the bolts lining up nicely. Just be sure to have your own adjustable wrench handy, because the little one that comes in the box is awful. If we hadn't had our own wrench we'd probably still be trying to put the table together a week later. September 2, 2011
Solution to wobble Read my comments under the 3-shelf console table on how to assemble. The same approach to setting up a chair correctly also helps with furniture pieces such as these tables/consoles. It may not be perfect, but it should improve the wobble! April 18, 2011
Great look, poorly manufactured. I bought one of these Aiden Etagere's and a matching end table for my bedroom. After being satisfied with the look, I wanted another for the other side of the bed (now a week later). I called up my local World Market and they were unwilling to give me the sale price I got a few days ago. Oh well, I guess I'll wait until they go back on sale or I have a coupon from World Market Explorer. The look of these is great. I totally agree with the bad reviews below, the holes do not line up and you will most likely need a power drill to make new holes for the screws. The wheels barely move and you have to pick the whole unit up to move around. I wouldn't buy these at full price. They are great looking, and functional, but with the poor construct it's best to get a discount, knowing you're going to have to put significant extra effort in putting it together.
