Rated 5 out of 5 by Almostdone Great rug but unroll it outside if you can. We just received this rug and it is very nice, soft underfoot, thick and a beautiful color. I think the representation online was very true in color and quality. In addition the shipping was quick; we had the rug in our possession in under a week! I can't yet speak of the wear since it hasn't been walked on. The only thing I would say as a caution is if you have a chance unroll it outside and shake it out before you put it down. It made a big mess on the floor because It was filled with dirt and hay like debris, presumably from where it was woven. Fortunately we have a wooden floor so we were able to sweep it up pretty easily. If you were putting it over a carpet (as I have seen people do of late) it would be frustrating. We are very happy with our purchase. November 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MandyV57 Even better than I expected I just got this put into place after receiving it almost two weeks ago. I bought the largest size (9x12) from the website because I wanted a rug large enough for my dining room table plus 6 chairs when the chairs were pushed back. This necessitated moving everything in my dining room - table & chairs, china cabinet, sideboard and small drinks cabinet. So after all that work, it's in place and could not look any more perfect. The color is beautiful and much richer than it looks in the picture, it's nice and thick, surprisingly soft underfoot and the weave is gorgeous. I got it for half off and I think I got the deal of the year. March 11, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Astonishing Beautiful! But Thicker Than Expected with a Coarser Weave This rug is a beautiful tan-turquoise color that will go well with tan, brown, green, and blue-green. It could look fantastic in a light, casual room with contemporary furniture. This "basket weave" rug is quite thick, about 3/4 of an inch thick, much thicker than I expected, especially compared with other thin and flat jute rugs available from World Market, such as the boucle jute rugs or the printed jute rugs like the Kimono Floral Jute Rug, which are about 1/4 inch thick. I brought two of these rugs, the smallest size, to be the first "step rugs" a person would step on when entering my house. They work perfectly for that purpose because I have fairly high thresholds, so the door can slide over them when I open it. However, if you have low thresholds, you might not be able to place these 3/4+ inch thick rugs in a doorway. The "basket weave" of this rug is also quite coarse, with each woven strand about 1/4 of an inch thick, and the strands apparently woven in pairs. Because of the coarse weave, it would not be easy to slide chairs on this rug, so it would not work well in a dining room or an area where you would want to slide chairs on it. Although the weave is coarse, it is also very tight, so I am not concerned about the rug coming apart or losing its shape. Although the weave is coarse, the rug is actually surprising soft underfoot. Rated 1 out of 5 by julie617 Not sure why people would like this rug? The second it was delivered and I put it down in our living room I already noticed tufts of it coming apart. And, every day it is getting worse. It looks terrible. To top that off - I find that I CANNOT vacuum this rug! It gets stuck in BOTH of my vacuums, even the super wimpy dirt devil that is just for my hard wood floors! I will be getting a new, different rug soon. March 26, 2014
