We had a cheaper World Market brand french press for about 6 months when it broke so I figured I'd upgrade to this one. It does generally feel nicer, but it also is a smaller carafe and they are both 8 cups.
I gave this French press to my husband for Christmas and he loved it.
I am a big coffee lover and enjoy drinking coffee every morning. I had heard great things about the Bodum French Press so I was excited to purchase it. I was not disappointed. It's easy to use, the coffee is richer in taste and has a nice aroma. The filter did a good job and I did not have any coffee grounds in my cup of coffee. I have a single cup coffee maker and it does not compare to the taste of the French press coffee. I like that you can control the temperature and strength of the coffee to your taste. It's also easy to clean since the glass container is removable and the filter can disassemble. I've been using the French Press everyday so far and still happy with my purchase.

I bought this french press for my husband who loves coffee. He said that the taste is much better than regular coffee machines. He uses it everyday. It makes a good amount of coffee. It even made regular grocery store coffee taste good, so we can't wait to try some gourmet coffee. It is very easy to clean because the glass container is removable.
