Poorly made. I've purchased 3 within a year and all have broken within 2 to 5 months...
I bought this espresso machine because I never liked coffee that I made for myself and I was spending $15-20 a week on buying lattes from my local coffee shop. While I still go there sometimes, this machine has changed my life. I make myself a latte almost every day and it tastes just as good as from the shop. I look forward to playing around with different flavorings and drinks. The machine has already paid for itself s couple times over with the money I've saved on coffee. Love!
I got this as a super-bargin during a WM anniversary sale. I turned my nose up at espresso, lattes, etc. for 30 years but now this is my go-to brewer. I like the process as well as the taste. The steam change lever is a little looser now but I like that I have the option where the steam goes; a friend's higher end maker doesn't have this feature a well as other deficits.
I bought this machine in December and fell in love! Since then, Ive used it almost daily to make espresso or a latte. It is very easy to operate and clean up is quick, making it something you look forward to using. Everything was going well until mid-June when the lever that is used to switch from the espresso to froth setting fell off. It didn't creak or crack or snap, it simply went limp. If you really wiggle it around you can get it to catch and switch over to steam, but its not worth the hassle. I'm a college student so I still use it frequently to make espresso or iced drinks, but I wish it was still fully functional. Despite that problem, I would still recommend it to a friend looking for an affordable machine.
