Absolutely in love I bought this espresso machine because I never liked coffee that I made for myself and I was spending $15-20 a week on buying lattes from my local coffee shop. While I still go there sometimes, this machine has changed my life. I make myself a latte almost every day and it tastes just as good as from the shop. I look forward to playing around with different flavorings and drinks. The machine has already paid for itself s couple times over with the money I've saved on coffee. Love! February 11, 2015
Has worked well for over 6 months I got this as a super-bargin during a WM anniversary sale. I turned my nose up at espresso, lattes, etc. for 30 years but now this is my go-to brewer. I like the process as well as the taste. The steam change lever is a little looser now but I like that I have the option where the steam goes; a friend's higher end maker doesn't have this feature a well as other deficits. Small But wonderful I purchased one last March in anticipation of a road trip that I was to take in Mid April. Because of its size, the machine was so portable and easy to bring along so that I can have my espresso whenever I want. It was easy to use and produces great espressos. Bought mine when it was on Sale so it was even a great bargain. August 13, 2010
Great Machine for the Money I bought this machine over 2 years ago to save money by not going to the coffee shop to get a good cup of espresso. It has paid for itself several times over. I use it on a daily basis to make mocha's and espresso shots with coffee beans I get at the grocery store (ground to espresso powder). It is easy to use, needs no tamping device, and doesn't take up much room at all being left on the kitchen counter. I have owned 2 other machines from the expensive copper and brass Italian imported machines to the mid range duel cup models and this is by far the best. I have bought it for gifts for friends and family and all loved how easy it was to use and the quality of the espresso. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an easy and quick cup of espresso everyday. May 20, 2010
Good for the Price I bought this machine in December and fell in love! Since then, Ive used it almost daily to make espresso or a latte. It is very easy to operate and clean up is quick, making it something you look forward to using. Everything was going well until mid-June when the lever that is used to switch from the espresso to froth setting fell off. It didn't creak or crack or snap, it simply went limp. If you really wiggle it around you can get it to catch and switch over to steam, but its not worth the hassle. I'm a college student so I still use it frequently to make espresso or iced drinks, but I wish it was still fully functional. Despite that problem, I would still recommend it to a friend looking for an affordable machine. August 5, 2014
Didn't last long In the beginning, I was thrilled with this little machine. Space saver and made good expresso. The problem is the milk steamer/frother. After a couple of months, it just stopped working on day. No warning, no slow death, just no steam. I thought maybe I got a bad one and exchanged it. Same problem happened, this time about a month into it. If you are looking to just make expresso, you'll be fine. I still have it and use it for that, but I'm definitely in the market for a new machine. If you'd like to have the option to latte or capuchino it, I guess you get what you pay for. Keep shopping.
