WHA ?!?! These are NOT from the 1970s! While you got it right with Razzles, Now & Laters and Smarties, these are NOT from the 1970's: Chewy-Gummi type candy was not introduced until the 1980s Sourpatch kids This candy was not introduced until 1985 (cabbage patch dolls did not become popular until the early 80s -of which, these are a knock-off name) Laffy Taffy - this could be a substitute for Turkish Taffy - I never heard of Laffy Taffy until the 1990s. (I know it is from Willy Wonka Movie circa 1970s - but all that candy did not really become popular until the 1980s) Lava Lamps were from the 1960s (some leftovers in the early 1970s) By the way - The smiley face (while invented in 1960s) was actually a 1970's fad so it should be on the 1970's candy purse instead of the 1960's. Also, Bell Bottoms were in popular culture in the 1970s May 30, 2011
