Basil infused Tequila

Ingredients

  • 750ml bottle of Tequila
  • 1 cup of tightly packed basil leaves

Decant the Tequila into a clean glass container with a tight-fitting lid. Rinse and dry the basil leaves; add the leaves to the Tequila. Keep the container away from direct light and let infuse for up to 24 hours (at least overnight), or until the desired flavor is reached.

Strain, remove basil leaves, and keep Basil Tequila in a glass bottle. This Tequila is a wonderful addition to the Lavender Lemonade.
