Italians love a sweet ending, and so do we! Try our tiramisu recipe for a swoon inducing after dinner treat. Serve alongside a steaming cup of Lavozza or Illy espresso - Italy's favorite coffees - and prepare to linger a little longer at your Italian-inspired table.

Lazzoroni Amaretti Tiramisu

  • 3 Eggs, separated
  • 2 Cups Mascarpone
  • ¾ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Coffee Liqueur or Dark Rum
  • 1 ½ Cups Expresso, Strong Coffee or Instant Coffee*
  • 3.5 Oz. Lazzaroni Amaretti Cookies.* Crumble about 1/3 of the cookies
  • 3.5 Oz. Ladyfingers*
  • Cocoa Powder*
  • Combine coffee, coffee liqueur and ¼ cup sugar
  • Beat egg whites to a froth
  • In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, egg yolks and ½ cup sugar
  • Fold mascarpone mixture into beaten egg whites
  • Dip savoiardi into coffee mixture

In a large pan place a layer of the cream mixture. Add one layer of dipped savoiardi, one layer of cream, one layer of Lazzaroni Amaretti and another layer of cream. Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with crumbled Lazzaroni Amaretti. Refrigerate a minimum of two hours before serving.
