3 Hot Bloody Mary Recipes

Spice it up! What weekend brunch party could be
complete without these classic spicy cocktails?

1. Classic Bloody Mary with a Twist

  • 1 1/2 oz. (1 jigger) vodka
  • 1/2 cup Powell and Mahoney Bloody Mary Mix
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • Tabasco to taste
  • 1 celery stick for garnish

Combine ingredients and stir. Add a lemon wedge, pickled bean or okra for a fun twist! Makes 1 serving.

2. Bacon Bloody Mary

  • 1 oz. Torani Bacon Syrup
  • Demitri's Bloody Mary Mix
  • 32 oz. tomato juice
  • 1 tbs. horseradish
  • Bacon Hot Sauce to taste
  • Demitri's Bacon Rimmer
  • 8 oz. vodka
  • Bacon salt to taste
  • Bacon slice for garnish

Mix Demitri's Bloody Mary Concentrate as directed. Dip the glasses in a shallow dish of water, then rim the glasses with Demitri's Bacon Rimmer. Add diluted bloody mary mix and other ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain mixture over the ice cubes in a highball glass. Squeeze a lime slice over the drink and garnish with a bacon slice. Serves 8.

3. Asian Bloody Mary

  • 1/2 fresh lime juice
  • 4 1/2 tsp wasabi
  • 6 cups Big Tom Spiced Tomato Juice
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/4 tsp Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sake

Combine lime juice and wasabi with a whisk, until wasabi dissolves. Pour into a pitcher. And add veggie juice, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and salt. Chill. Stir in sake and serve over ice, with a pickled asparagus or bean or fresh cucumber. Serves 8.
