There’s a lot to like about this delicious recipe: sweet and tangy pineapple flavors commingle with bacon-wrapped beef for an island-inspired combination that the entire family will love—because when you can’t get to the islands, it’s time to bring the savory and zesty flavors right to your home!
In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic,
Aloha Gold Premium Soy Sauce, green onions, bread, and egg. Season the mixture with World Market Fine Mediterranean Sea Salt and black pepper, and mix again. Divide the ground beef into 9 equal portions and roll into a ball.
Using the burger press from the
Deluxe Mini Hamburger Slider Set, create the sliders. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet between each set of three.
For each slider, wrap a slice of bacon around the meat in a cross shape. The ends of the bacon should be on the bottom.
Cook the burgers over charcoals using the
Terracotta Pig Grill until the desired doneness is achieved. A good rule of thumb is to cook each slider just until the bacon is done and grill lines appear. This results in a juicy slider.
Assemble the sliders by filling each slider roll with green leaf lettuce, a cooked patty, approximately 2 tablespoons of
Rufus Teague Whiskey Maple BBQ Sauce, a red onion ring and a piece of fresh pineapple. Use a skewer to secure each.
