Our Annual Downton Abbey Tea Party Is Here!

As we bundle up with a cozy throw and hot cup of tea to prepare for our beloved television drama’s final season, we thought we’d give our favorite show (and its fans) a proper sen-doff—by way of a tea party, of course!

Our #DoTheDownton Virtual Tea Party and Photo Contest is on Sunday, December 6, and it’s an all day social media event that’s taking place on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Watch the video below and consider it your special invitation from the show’s most endearing “downstairs” cook.

Here’s the breakdown of the #DoTheDownton Virtual Tea Party:

  • Twitter Party at 9am PST. We’re kicking things off with a Twitter Party, where we’ll be sharing tips for hosting your own #DoTheDownton Tea Party, talking about our amazing Downton Abbey products and giving away prizes!
  • Facebook Chat at 1pm PST. The fun continues on Facebook! We’ll be chatting about all the Downton Abbey fun we’re having, sharing great products, recipes and our favorite #DoTheDownton photos! Join the Chat Event on Facebook.
  • Instagram Takeover. Our Twitter party also kicks off our #DoTheDownton Instagram Takeover! Simply post a picture of you and your friends “Doing the Downton” on Instagram with the hashtag #DoTheDownton for a chance to be featured on World Market’s Instagram account and win #DoTheDownton Photo Contest prizes.
  • Twitter Party at 5pm. We’re wrapping things up right where we started—on Twitter! Join us as we share our favorite photos, and of course, join the conversation and maybe come away with some amazing prizes, including our Grand Prize.
