Add blooms
It’s true—nothing perks up a table like a vase of fresh flowers. Merrick chose neutral blooms, like white hydrangeas and blush roses, for her colorful table.

“I wanted something springy and fresh for my table, and I’ve been crazy about gingham this spring, so I painted some white placemats with a simple gingham pattern,” says Merrick.

Pick fruits
Yellow pops from fragrant lemons scattered throughout the table complement the blogger’s blue gingham placemats perfectly.

Make it earthy
For Merrick, earthy neutrals at the table really help the colors and bright whites pop. She added bunny napkin rings and nests to her tablescape for a just-right Easter-ized touch.
