Holiday Kitchen Tour: Traditional Christmas Kitchen Palette

It’s nice to put the occasional twist on Christmas palettes now and then (think silver and gold pairings, or blue and purple combinations). But sometimes, staying the course with simple  red and white or red and green additions does the trick.

Kristin from Yellow Bliss Road decked her kitchen with tasteful holiday decor—without going overboard. A stickler for simplicity and a believer in a ‘less is more’ approach, she picked out striking pieces like our Red Cookie Jar and Red Retro Scale for maximum impact against a mostly white kitchen. Admittedly, she’s a big fan of our JOY Marquee Lights. “It’s my favorite thing in the kitchen, and it’s battery operated, which means no ugly plugs stretching across the counter!”

Shannon of AKA Design + Life also went with traditional reds in her kitchen. Even for the bold Christmas touches, she kept everything clean and vintage-looking. Classic red striped seersucker kitchen towels, red and white paper straws in mason jars, and a tabletop chalkboard easel add just the right amount of Christmas cheer. Her favorite holiday decor addition is—you guessed it—our JOY Marquee Lights!
