In decorating our front porch for Thanksgiving, I wanted to create a cozy and welcoming spot to enjoy our favorite season, and celebrate all the things we love about fall.
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to spend outdoors. Sure, the days may be shorter, but the weather in North Carolina is amazing. Our family takes every opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy all that fall has to offer. Our autumn days are busy with visits to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard, treks to the mountains to see the colorful foliage, and fun times at local fall festivals.
For the harvest-inspired Thanksgiving door decor, I used tones of copper, orange, and aqua, combined with natural elements and homey touches.
The pumpkins were leftover from Halloween!
The fall wreath with gourds is just the right seasonal touch for the front door, don’t you think?
I also love this lantern that’s hanging by our front door.
I added just a few more cozy seasonal touches to cozy up the porch even more, like this oval tray lined with miniature pumpkins.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit to this cozy space I call my front porch!
