If used correctly, brewing coffee with a Moka Pot produces a bittersweet and strong cup.
Body: Aromatic, rich and full-bodied.
Grind: Experimentation is key for the Moke Pot brewing method, but typically, the course should be slightly coarser than espresso but finer than a French press.
-Grind about 20 grams of coffee (coarser than espresso, finer than a French press).
-Fill the bottom half of your Moka pot with freshly-boiled water.
-Place the metal filter in the bottom component of the Moka pot.
-Add your coffee. Make sure it is evenly spread throughout the pot.
-Screw on the top of the Moka pot. Beware of touching the bottom chamber, which will be hot.
-Place the Moka pot on the stovetop over medium heat.
-You know your Moka pot brew is done when you hear a bubbling (or hissing) sound.
