When I’m designing a bedroom, I always like to start with a beautiful pattern (in my art/decor or a pretty throw pillow). In this spring bedroom mood board, the embossed throw pillow has such pretty spring colors in the fabric, and the coral and green tones in the bedding complement the throw pillow perfectly. A plush velvet bed brings all the colors together. I love how the starburst mirror’s beautifully carved details and look perfect above the bed.  To tie in the wood from the mirror, the Aiden nightstands are ideal and the industrial feel adds an unexpected touch.  The mercury glass table lamps and white cotton linen shade add a nice neutral touch to the space.

See how the cowhide poufs at the base of the bed provide extra seating if needed?  And a petite occasional chair with a small pillow make a nice spot for reading a book.  To bring the green back in from the bedding, the large Sara dresser keeps the room feeling light and fresh, while the Barcelona vase makes the perfect vessel in which to host fresh spring blooms.  Turquoise artwork above each nightstand add a fun punch of color, and to anchor the whole space, I picked a blue jute boucle rug.

I don’t know about you, but this room has me dreaming of sunnier, spring days!
