5 Easy Cleaning Tips For Your Home

5 Easy Cleaning Tips For Your Home - Discover, a blog by World Market

DUST YOUR HOME WEEKLY

It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it. Make sure to dust your household electronics and furniture weekly, and if you have someone who suffers from allergies in your home, dust twice a week to prevent dust from building up.

CLEAN AS YOU GO

Don’t give pasta sauces or oils a chance to harden and sit around! Place your dishes and pans in a sink filled with hot soapy water, and if you have time, scrub those sauces out quickly before you soak and sit down for dinner. You’ll appreciate how easy it is to get rid of the dirty stuff later.

BEDTIME = WIPE DOWN TIME

While the big kids are winding down in their rooms, picking out their bedtime books and decompressing, do a quick wipe down of the house with an all-purpose cleaner. Wipe bathroom sinks and floors, toilet seats and corral clutter. After, wash your hands thoroughly with a moisturizing and disinfecting soap.

AROMATHERAPY MAKES EVERYONE HAPPY

From eucalyptus dish soap to lemongrass hand lotion, make cleaning that much more enjoyable with scents that uplift and invigorate. Trust us—cleaning soaps and solutions infused with essential oils can actually make cleaning fun (and dare we say relaxing?).

USE TOOLS THAT WORK HARD FOR YOU

We all love a gorgeous and well-designed wine decanter or narrow-mouth pitcher, but they’re not the easiest to clean after the party is over. Use cleaning tools that are especially designed to fit into the hard-to-reach places, and you’ll soon know the joy of what it’s like to clean with ease.

    Great news about Fuller Brush products. I have some that I purchased in the 60’s. Clothes brushes, finger-nail, these are top quality products. Thanks. Tips are good but something I do ordinarily.
