2 Ways to Add L-O-V-E Into Your Decor

This year, Megan from Honey We’re Home made something that had us all asking, “Why didn’t we think of that?”  She simply wrote the names of all the very important people in her life on little foam hearts and hung them with pink baker’s twine from the branches of a dining room console table arrangement. Voila—it’s a love tree.

“You can make something like this for a teacher. Each student in the class could write their name on one side of the heart, and on the other side, the student could write down their favorite thing about that particular teacher,” she says.

Her next DIY idea is crazy beautiful. With a foam ball as her base and a sewing pin to affix each rose to the ball, Megan used Moroccan Scented Rose Soap Petals (exactly 20 soap petals, to be precise) to create a scented decorative ball.
